I have never doubted for a minute that you are a good dad and it ticks me off the way Kim acts. She needs to get over herself and her petty BS.
However, your comment about divorced women "using" the kids to stress emotional damage stung a bit. DH pays all the bills and gives me a decent amount of money every month, and sees the kids for hours at a time everyday. YET--he pulls his little disappearing acts and is gone for days at a time with no phone calls, nothing. I think I have every right to complain about emotional damage when my kids are crying themselves to sleep cause Daddy has disappeared again and no one knows where he is.

and two..I said decent men..and I don't think a decent man would pull a disappearing act or have an affair....

by letting things lay for a few days it appears that I have accomplished the impossible and convinced Kim to let me take Caleigh..she has agreed to so far..
now is the time for me to be still...to be as quiet as a church mouse..
I accomplished this by using the some time I had that I tacked onto my 1st weeks summer vacation..I swapped 3 of my days for two for the beach trip...
