Oldtimers: IS Mlcer good parent after crises?

Ive been seeing XH at work latly more since brother is out of town
he looks terrible
you can see the depression all over him
he looks like he is thinking??
I wonder what hes thinking
still distant
R remains cordial
work conctact and we get on well professionally since I am now his secretary
weird!!

I let Friend go again
now I realized the attraction I had to friend I think b/c he had similar traits( not good)
he seemed familiar
as XH
passive agrressive I believe??
so hopefully I will not pick him up again
It has not beem an easy ride with frind either
so
to let others know who consider dating
to be careful
I definitely do not want to pick another like my Xh
It would one thing to restore M and work it out with XH and bring family together
and another to pull in a stranger to work the same stuff out
I would rather pass and attempt to attract someone with better character traits/more maturity

as we do not want to pick the same after all this work
