Marc is my total world and frankly, if it weren't for him, I would not still be in this world. He's my only reason for living and I will love and support him with every fiber of my being. That's all I can do for him.
Marc didn't seem to care that he didn't spend any part of the day with Gabe and only spoke to him for about 2 minutes in the morning. I'm glad for that. I tried to make the day fun for him. We had a late breakfast since we all woke up FAR too late for church yesterday and then we played a card game together, went for haircuts, grocery, and then home to grill dinner and we watched the first Harry Potter movie gearing up for the release of the new movie in July. We like to watch all the preceeding movies in a series before we go back for the newest one. What can I say, we're major geeks!
Hey Mishka...wow did you know you have 33 pages on your thread! That seems like alot! I can understand why you were so ticked off at your ex...I dont think men really care that much about fathers day, expecially ones that leave their wife and kids. My H told me to take my time coming home from our trip yesterday and he would see the kids later. When I got home, I told him I would bring the kids to see him. He said he got bored and rode to town...window shopping...??? kinda ticked me off that he werent wanting to see the kids that badly...then again, the kids didnt really say that much to him when he did finally stop by. He sat and stayed for about 10 minutes...
oh, and the internet dating thing...I have met a guy on one and have become good friends with him. We are set to met on Saturday for lunch! I have been talking to him for about 10 months now! He knows my sitch and is actually very supportive!

Yeah, I think since the last upgrade they might have stopped locking threads, or at least not locking as quickly.
That's so nice that you made a good friend through a site. It just unnerves me completely to even think about it. Like I said, too many things that I can't change about myself that I can't bear for any man to ever know so that's that!
I'll never understand men....not ever. The only ones I even remotely understand are in my family. I guess since we were all raised with the same values and sense of family that we all think alike in that respect. My take is that my family is completely abnormal where that is concerned. We're all loud, crazy, in each other's business, and VERY tight knit. Outsiders get a little overwhelmed by us.

Hey! I had to share this with you all! My boss got an email today with a link to this accapella choir singing Toto's "Africa". It is totally amazing!!!!!!!!! The other great thing is that this choir is from Slovenia so you have non-native English speakers doing all of these insane sound effects. Who would have thought....a Slovenian beat boxer?
Anyone look at that link I posted? It was just so neat! I was thinking Julia, Lisa and Ali all being musically and artistically inclined would REALLY get a kick out of it.
One of Marc's summer school classes is ending early because of a new state law (this is the math class to retake the standardized test he was required to pass and didn't) which totally messes up all of my arrangements for transportation. My only choice was to ask Gabe if he would take Marc to school for 2nd period (10am arrival required) for the next 2 weeks. He seemed really hesitant to say yes. Wanted to know why he couldn't ride his bike. I told him it isn't a good idea that Marc rides his bike all to the school since he wanders off just walking down the street to the bus. He has to be there on time and I can't take the risk. He was still hesitant but agreed to do it. I didn't say anything to him about his reaction to my request, but it's bugging me. Should I ask him if he is sure he is ok taking him? He doesn't make Marc the priority in his life so I guess it shouldn't surprise me that he probably doesn't want to take him. Oh.....sigh.....
I'm going to a concert tonight with a friend. It's Eddie Vedder (lead singer of Pearl Jam) doing his solo stuff. It's going to be tough to get out of her on time to make the drive all the way up there but it will be a good time once we get there!
I feel a little bad about it since we were going to finish watching a movie we started last night but the movie can really wait until tomorrow I guess. Not a big deal.

I picked up Marc from school today and was talking to him about the revised schedule. I realized that Gabe would be bringing him home from his weekend Sunday night and then would just have to come pick him up the next morning for school so I was thinking maybe Marc should just stay an extra night and save him the trip. I asked Marc if he wanted to stay an extra night at his dad's and his answer........"I'd rather just come home and sleep in my bed. The couch gets really uncomfortable. Plus, I like being home."
Vindication is mine!!!! He likes being at home and doesn't want to spend more time than scheduled at his dad's. Hmmmm.....a little telling. Of course, he is something of a homebody, but still, if he was so comfortable over there and thought of it as his dad's place and had an actual bed to sleep in he wouldn't feel like such a visitor. Works for me!
Oh yeah.....Eddie Vedder rocked the house down last night!!!!! Acoustic performance and he still wailed!
