Since you speak of war, I will quote to you from a commentary in that little black book I showed you when I visited- the I Ching- which refers to war. (More specifically, a commentary by James Legge on Hexagram 7)

"In military operations there must be one ruling will and mind. A divided authority is sure to be a failure. But 'a retreat' is no evidence of failure in a campaign. When advance would lead to disaster, retreat is the regular course to pursue."

Your "nuclear option" would most definitely lead to disaster.

I received a phone call from my Xmil last night. I was outside with the kids. I have no idea what she wanted. She didn't leave a message either.

I can't think of any reason why she would call, but no message left so I will most likely never know.

I have to admit, that "whole OM new daddy" thing knocked me for a loop.

I'm getting back on my feet again. Realizing it's not going to do a darn bit of good to tell her anything.

Man, I had a great day today. We had a blast. It was my grandfather's 90th B-day too. He still works in the yard(which btw looks like a golf green. lol), Still drives, and still cooks the family meals. He rocks!

The kids and I went for a raft ride, went fishing, swimming, and played out in the yard. It was great. Could ask for a better day.
