I think that is a great approach SMW. We need people to stand with us and also Godly wisdom. "Jesus said with men this is impossible; but WITH God all things are Possible". I stand by that scripture in Mt.19:26. People might think we are crazy for standing for our marriage. If we work with God, our situation is possible. I have seen God do the impossible. : )
Sunday at church, the sermon was on the "Marriage Supper". My W was strongly convicted by the HS. The evangelist was explaining how ppl say I do in a natural marriage but don't commit. He said just because you say I do doesn't mean anything. You display works behind the word Do. He further explained how ppl say I DO to Jesus but think that is all they have to do.. You get where the message was going.. W ended up going to the altar call crying etc. When W got home, she tricked me into giving her my wedding band and told me she wasn't giving it back the next day. I was stunned!! I just don't understand how ppl can act that way immediately after weeping at the altar. I know who I'm fighting against. "We are fighting against flesh and blood".
"Suffering is painful but makes you a stronger person".
