I look at my M the same way as you. I took up my cross daily and follow after Jesus. The cross of suffering for Christs sake against the fiery darts of the enemy. We knew what is on the other side of the cross "Victory". People think it's easy to go down the wide path but it leads to destruction. Continue to go down the narrow path SMW. I will come in agreement with you for your marriage restoration.
