Yep, he said that!

It isn't a surprise that she is moving today. More than a week ago she said she was, though there were some doubts. And it's not like I've asked.

(((((Kalni)))))

Things started getting better from the day we decided to separate. I know some might consider it anti-DB, but it is true, in my case.

The kids were a bit upset that today was moving day, but I think it was because they aren't looking forward to the work that is left to do over there. They are going on vacation starting Sunday, for two weeks. I think by the time that they are back things will be pretty much settled out.

S11 tried to be the peacemaker... I think it is going to be good for him to not think he has to do that any more.

I am getting really excited!

It looks like W and the kids are about 90% moved out. There are a lot of odds and ends still to go, but most of the big stuff is gone. I was a little surprised that she took the patio chairs, I may have to disagree about that. Or I may be a pushover. Decisions, decisions.....

It's a little sad, but I've decided I am not going to be sad!

Choose your battles, Jeff. If you want the chairs and it is a reasonable request, then make it! One positive on my operation de-clutter is that, with my husband out of the house, there is more room! I may foist a lot more on him once his house is livable, whether he wants it or not! wink

Glad you are forging onward with positive outlook. Me too!

Yep, at this point choosing the battles is pretty important. I'd like the chairs, but I am not sure it is worth the cost. It does seem that a lot of things are walking out of the house. But thena gain, those are the things I notice.... not the stuff that has stayed. It's only money! Assuming the housing market ever rebounds, I'll come out way ahead there, though right now it doens't feel that way.

Keeping the positive outlook is a bit tricky at times, but it does seem possible to decide to do it.

18 months of flirting and now he gets excited! wink

Are you going to have a party to celebrate having the place to yourself Jeff? or maybe a concentrated bout of decorating? I was walking around on my new kitchen floor tonight barefoot. It's so fantastic- I have underfloor heating and it's the best thing ever! (OK, not the best thing ever, but you know what I mean!)
