I too homeschool, have for 7 years now and it is wonderful. For some, not for others. Not to hijack, but Karen, have you looked into Florida Virtual School? It is for middle and high school, offers classes that they can get in regular school but is much better than Florida public schools. I have been using it for my S for a few years now and it is great. My son is gifted and the programs here just do not meet his needs. FLVS lets him move at his own pace, is run by Stetson University (at least they started it) and the classes are much harder than what the public schools are doing.
