Last night her GF came over to her apt and W wanted me to come by and pick up the kids. Told her I couldn't, had to work.
This morning I called to talk to kids and she answered. She onky answers when she wants something.
I told her that I would have to mail her child support to the state since it still hasn't been deducted from check.
Her tone changes and she says, it's hard, it's really hard. I paid $200 for summer activity fees the other day. I told her that this is hard for me too, I was talking about adjusting to less money coming and she quickly cut me off.
I showered, went to get kids and attempted to make eye contact. She wouldn't look at me. When I treid to talk and look at her, she looked down. I stopped talking and she would look up but not directly at me. I started talking and her eyes would go down.
I guess she is trying to open up about her financial issues.
Honestly, I don't want to hear it. This is what she wanted.
But I know, I need to learn to listen to her and get a line of communication open; other than email or text.
