Found a pearl just before bedtime..."We have to keep making ourselves better while they work their way through the fog. If they come out of it and notice us standing there all buff, confident and successful, its their choice to take it or not."
"Always go straight forward, and if you meet the devil, cut him in two and go between the pieces." - William Sturgis, clipper ship captain, 1830's.

Or some other lucky Gal will take it!
Hi Astimegoeson.
Kinda hard to imagine right now though! She's so special to me, and so cherished by me...hard to think that anybody else could get on the radar screen!
How are you doing, man?

Doing good. Just got off work and will be off 4 days... hallelujah! I'm in a great mood.
I admire your devotion and I know the strength it takes to stand. Didn't some dead guy say.. "It's better to have loved, then to have been loved"? I believe that ability makes us good people.
Anyway, no matter how your situation unfolds, it's in your power to re-direct your life in a manner that fulfills you. Rather it be a new relationship with your W, with a new partner, or by yourself.
"It is curious that physical courage should be so common in the world and moral courage so rare." -Mark Twain

I'm glad things are good with you, hope you enjoy your days off. Good moods are therapeutic aren't they?
Thanks. I love my wife and my family, and I am devoted to them wholeheartedly. It does take a lot of strength to 'stand', and live this way, and do the work while trying to maintain a good positive attitude. I am a good man...I'm better now than I've ever been in my life. Some dead guy also said something like..."if you love something, set it free. If it doesn't come back, hunt it down and kill it."
I would like to have a new relationship with the mother of my children. But, I'm making the changes and doing the work on myself because it needed to be done...period! No other reason!

That's a good reason to read other people's threads, not only to be supportive to them...but to learn ourselves, from the information that has been posted to them.
You doin' OK?

I'd like to know how you folks who have been separated for a much longer period of time than I have cope with the lonliness? I sometimes get very, very lonely...not just for female companionship per se...but for her specifically. How do you wade through it?
It's all about the GAL going out doing things. When this first started I was VERY lonely but then realized it was up to me to get over it and do something. Now I'm at the point where I don't have to be out doing something I comfortable with myself by myself.

I usually do pretty good, but sometimes it just hits me kinda hard...and I miss her...and I miss our family being together.
