Well, he said he wasn't looking to be married again and right now I believe him. I know that I believe in marriage and at some point think I will give it another go. I will have this huge book of notes under my arm this time as I start that adventure. lol

I also thought more about romping buddies. Though I would be hard pressed to deny that I wouldn't like the benefit, I know myself well enough to know that I want more. Don't hold me to it...I could cave you know.

So I am glad that work was better. Life seems better when work at least is going well. Got another notice of a certified letter from the Topeka Code Enforcement. Probably again about the car that I went crazy about trying to get the tire fixed in their time frame. If they want the darn thing to run after sitting this long, I doubt it is going to happen. I will wait and see what it says then deal. Aren't I supposed to just have peace, does it have to be drama every week??

I shook myself out of my mild funk. Told myself not to get worked up about the "code" letter until I actually read it. Picked it up this a.m. I need to either get my poor falling tree(it is maybe 7 feet) upright or cut it down. It is leaning onto the upper section of my drive. Geez do these people not have better things to do with their time??

They should look at my new neighbors who have yard art all over the front yard, including a grocery cart(I am not kidding) which has nothing in it. Can we say stolen??

I think since they had my car on their list, now they are going to look at every little thing regarding my house. At least this is an easy and inexpensive fix. Didn't think it really affected anyone but the city has to make money some how!!

Glad you're feeling better. That is bogus. Did you mention the shopping cart thing to them and ask about that?? And btw, it's prob. that and speeding tickets the city uses for funding!!! I just spent almost $200 on my going 65 on the highway ticket!! How's your day going?

No, I just picked up the certified letter this morning. You have 10 days from the time you sign for it to fix the issue. I think they will just keep an eye on my poor house because of the car being up on a jack earlier. I am sure the new neighbors will be hearing from them at some point since they have only been there two weeks and you could probably hop from on piece of yard art to another to get across their yard!!

Today is going fine, much better when 5:00 hits!

Not too bad Corey. Just keeping busy. S16 took us to the movies on Saturday(he works there so we can get in free). I took them to the park and for a quick bite before hand. Beautiful weather on Saturday. Have been texting a bit with former boyfriend but again I see it as just friends.

My heart is set on someone else. Karen will tell me to not hold my breath on that one but I am still hanging in there. He is still healing from his own breakup with a serious girlfriend but I see signs that he is coming out of his shell. So we will see.

Quick, strong need to vent! Kids goofing off having a pillow fight and broke the light fixture on my new fan that I just had put up a month or so ago. I actually think their friend did it but cr@p. I am not made of money and these kids think they can just do whatever and I can replace it. This isn't a crack like I was told a few minutes ago. A chunk is missing. I need to get a grip. Sent their friend home.

I was having that problem too, esp. with S15. I told him he was going to have to pay for replacements he broke and same for D9. I think that happened maybe once (an inexpensive lamp) but it really seemed to help. If it's their money, maybe they're more careful? Karen
