It is long past time I set my own standards for myself and enforce them. Not just with Dan, with everyone. I can't keep living the life of a people-pleaser who never winds up pleasing anyone, really, least of all myself!!

Live for you, to make you happy. If it makes someone else happy too, then that's a great residual. If not.....too bad. Remember BBJ....this includes the kids, ok? You do what you need to for them but only do the extras that give you joy too. Playing outside with water baloons and squirt guns, taking long walks, going to get ice cream and watching it melt and drip down their arms....it's all fun for everyone, right?
Boundaries is awesome. DO THE WORKBOOK! Don't put it off. It will open your eyes to a lot of behaviors you don't even realize you exhibit.
