Talking to CG is not the same as talking to a potential 'date'. There is no potential for anything more than the friendship I have with CG so there is no anxiety. Where there is any potential I freeze and stammer and become a total ball of nerves. It makes no sense to me, but it's something I'll need to deal with over time. That's why I realized I have no business trying to meet new people right now. I have too many underlying fears that need to be examined and put away.

I only say no potential because I know for a fact I'm not his type....AT ALL! I am actually the polar opposite of his type. He likes petite, latin women. I'm not even remotely close to petite and as fair skinned as they come and as anglo as possible. I do speak some Spanish though.

Everyone thinks they know what their "type" is..... then they meet someone, and it all goes out the window! "Type" might sometimes get the first look, but in the long run I think it decreases in importance. Everyone's type is confident, funny, and friendly, though! And you can do that! Put your mind to it!

Listen to the Yoda master! When you click you click. Types don't have a whole lot to do with it. I always liked blonds but ended up with a brunet. Like that made a difference!
