First Piecing Thread

Thanks for the posts guys.

Last night was interesting, and in a good way.

I think it starts going back to last Saturday. I had some work calls Saturday morning and W came downstairs as I was finishing them up.

Saturday evening she actually asked me what they were about. When I told her, she then asked me how I handle those kinds of situations and what I needed to do to follow up, etc.

Then last night, W went to the EGF's bridal shower. It was just 3 women and the EGF. W was home early because EGF had to go to her AA meeting (I know, right?).

Anyway, W came in and get this....Asked how my day was!!!!!!!!!! No lie, it's been probably 2 years since she actually expressed an interest in my day and what went on without me bringing it up first! That led to a lot of really nice conversation.

Later we were watching that stupid Bachlorette show and there was some crap on it about one or more of the guys supposedly have GF's and are on the show anyway and the Bachlorette lady lost it, was crying, talking about them hurting her when they knew what they were doing and hurting their GF's at home, etc and I looked over at W and she was sitting there pulling the skin on her neck and it looked like she was doing everything she could do to not cry.

Not reading anything into it, and I'm not going to try to figure out just what it was about what was happening on the show that was affecting her, but it WAS interesting. Of course, she could still be planning her exit and was just feeling bad about using me still......
