The kids and I had fun yesterday, even though we did not get to see the concert that was the basis for the trip in the first place. The section of the park where they held the concert was packed out over half an hour before the concert and we could not get in. We were able to go to the rides around that area and listen, though.

D6 rode her first big roller coaster yesterday! She absolutely loved it! I got to be the person that took her on it and we have pictures of her from before and after. The first thing she asked when we got off was if she could ride it again.

Church yesterday morning was wonderful. We had a national recording artist there and had a full service of praise and worship. It was a real treat and something I will remember for a long time to come.

My dad is back in town--my niece is getting married on Saturday. He will be over later on today. My house looks like a disaster zone. D9 has been hoarding her laundry and dropped all of it in the middle of the family room last night because she is out of clothes. So, I will apparently be doing laundry today.

Unfortunately, I caught a cold over the weekend and I feel like crud. I would like nothing better than to just go crawl back into bed and go back to sleep. But, the house and laundry will not take care of themselves.

Hope everyone had a blessed weekend and is looking forward to the week ahead with anticipation and joy at all the Lord will bring to you.

Living God's blessings with grace and dignity~
