Well, I haven't heard for sure, but W should be getting her keys today. At the least she is getting her mailbox key. A tidbit for anyone looking for that profile, my old name with no underscore, with zero six on the end. What's kind of funny is that she works the next three days! But, I guess she is on the way out, finally!
It's not in stone, but "moving day" is scheduled for the 15th. S21 gets back from Camp Lejeune the 14th, and hopefully by then the painting that needs to be done will be.... done!

I think the "little" guys and I will go see the second "Night at the Museum" movie this afternoon, and have some chicken wings!
I saw W's house last night, I took S19's phone charger over for him. He is doing stuff there, and was then housesitting for one of W's friends in the same general area. Anyway, the house will be nice..... but the previous owners were not completely kind to it! It looks like they tried to make some improvements, but to be kind, they were not "handy", and everything they did seems to have made things worse rather than better. They tried painting... let's just say they didn't succeed! A couple of bedrooms are trying to be a really RED color, but the coverage is terrible (red is a really hard color to paint a wall, if you've ever tried it), and one is only half done. And there is a nice red paint spill on the carpet in that room. Which is ok, because all of the other bedrooms have had the carpet taken out already anyway..... I don't know why that one still had carpet! Several walls have holes where the door handle went through, some they tried to repair, quite unsuccessfully! The good thing is that all that stuff will be relatively easy and inexpensive to fix, but probably really drove the price and demand for the house down. I think that when it is all done, it could look really nice. It's only about 10 years old, it looks like a bunch of 20-somethings who had never had to take care of anything lived in it.
Hey Jeff.. wow, I am so impressed you put a profile on Match AND met a lady for lunch !!!! Woohoo!!! Look at you go. I am glad you didnt take it down either, its all an adventure hey (well said for someone who is a sagittarian!). You dont seem too upset that W has the keys to her house.. I presume she has moved out then, or is she just decorating?
You know, you used to sound kind of depressed and apathetic and you agreed, hence the C you signed up for and look at you now Jeff. I can see an edge of excitement in your posts, or hope and its really nice to see you have turned a corner with letting your W go.

She hasn't moved yet. She's worked all three days since she got the keys. S19 has been over at her house getting things ready for painting. Getting stuff off the walls, and scrubbing them up. She doesn't work again until Friday, so I think there will be lots of activity over there this week. She's planning to move on the 15th, the day after S21 gets back from Marine training. That way she'll have lots of strong helpers.
At this point I'm ready for her to be gone. I'm not thrilled about it, but I know there's no other choice. Really, I don't that I want anything else. There's a different life out there than I have been living. And I'm looking forward to it!
