while parusing thru the forum today I noticed a few of our old friends posting. So I thought since a lot of us do like to hear from yous guys...stop in here and update! Or at least say Hi. share an update or a link to a new file, hunt up a buddy....anything goes.we WANT to hear from YOU!

I've posted here and there over the past two years but haven't had a regular thread in almost two years! I too would be interested to hear updates.

As for me ..
After 3 years, XH is still living with his young OW. They are not married and I doubt seriously if XH will ever marry her.

For over a year after the D, XH phoned me regularly .. usually to tell me how unhappy he was and (sometimes) that he wished he was still at home. But every invite to drop by and chat over a cup of coffee was postponed and never took place. I think he was too ashamed to face me.

XH has since "dropped out" and I rarely hear from him except when he calls to say he is leaving presents for the grandkids in our garage. He never comes in the house. The kids have not seen him in 3 years.

I leave XH alone and give him miles of space. But my friends and my grown kids' friends are still outraged over how H treated me and emotionally hurt our grandkids. These friends take every opportunity to embarrass XH and OW when they see them out in public.

XH and OW avoid public places as much as possible now.

XH's situation reminds me of that country song (can't remember exact lyrics) but something like ..

"Then what? Where ya gonna turn when you can't go back for the bridges you've burned and fate can't wait to kick you in the butt .. Then what?"

Or the lyrics to Kelli Pickler's new song.. "Once a cheater always a cheater. I've got my pride and she's got you!"

Four years ago I thought my world had ended. H and OW were flying high. Now they're facing the consequences of their actions and I'm doing okay.
