Divorcee who looked at our house again still thinks it is her #1 choice. She's making an offer on something prior to end of the month. Needs to be into whatever she buys by Labor Day. (Works for me! Another summer on the river!) She had a short list of items she had questions on... all easily explained or fixed (dumb 100-year-old kind of house stuff).
H gave me the update on a home I had seen online (listed by same agent that showed our house). I asked him what he thought of the area (new and kind of remote from where we are now...). He said he liked it, and would make it convenient for him when he has to travel.
GF's b-day night was FUN! Now I'm sleepy today! H called my phone about 10:15pm (knew I was w/the girls, and had info for one of them), and thought it was funny that we were STILL out.
The boys have friends over, and D18 is baby-sitting. Beautiful, sunny day here.
And, I'm WAY close to closing $145k order. Just waiting on one signature from someone in purchasing at the university. Yahoo! Nice commission dollars on $145k!! I have another one, hopefully, closing next week for $70k, and two more before the end of the month for about #125k. Between having a new territory, and this economic climate, it's been slow coming! The cost of sales on these projects is quite high from what I've been used to in the past. I will say, though, that all of them are in competition with a company with a dopey guy that handles this territory. And, I sell, primarily, to males. I think they like the blonde better!!!
Off to soccer this evening w/S12 and S9.
Cross your fingers, say a prayer, chant, something!!! That we sell this house. I LOVE my house, and it's really NOT for sale, but my H considers this house the beginning of the end of his feelings for me (since he didn't want to move in, and felt forced into a house he didn't want to be in, a lifestyle he's not comfortable in, and a lack of choice). Bad kharma in this house!

After many years w/my head in the sand... I FILED Divorced 6/2011
The average woman would rather have beauty than brains, because the average man can see better than he can think.
