Hey Karen, glad to hear you're doing okay. I don't know how the court system works in Florida, but here..custody mediation and financial mediation are two separate appointments. Just remember to relax. Write out a list of things you want or you want to discuss and any questions you have. That will be the time to sort out as much as you can. Make sure you have valid points and reasons for what you want. If you leave it up to a judge, they tend to be very generic. Mediation is the best place to set up the custody, the way YOU want it.
