He is still trying to remember what he said to you and when and why. I would suspect that he can't remember what his excuses are from one day to the other.
You can rest assured that you are NOT the only one he will be lying to, it's his lifestyle now.
Problem is, you need an EXCELLENT memory to be a good lier...something an A usually lacks...oops for him eh? :P
I'm sure you don't really care either, it's just a constant pain in the neck to you. Get some heat rub and erase that pain!!
