Hey brother....yes I was proud of her achievements. I am even more proud of the little person she is evolving into. Full of goodness with no malice whatsoever. Appreciative, respectful and most of all willing to help people around her (fellow students etc.). She once told me that when she grows up, she would like to help old people in some capacity.....
there was a little note in the booklet they received:
"reach for the stars but keep your feet on the ground"....I thought that was very a propos for the students and at least one parent (who shall remain nameless) whose feet are still not firmly planted. In retrospect for D8 to be recognized this way also reflects on her parents and how they have handled the past year or so.
Can't wait for the weekend so that I can be with her....
she wants me to help her pick out a couple of bathing suits.
Part of my recent beach trip with Michele included helping pick out bathing suits...that may just make you forget about golf..or 5 seconds...or...what were we talking about???
Things are going well BBJ....as they are for some others who have moved on. Which goes to show that one person should not be able to control your happiness. But it does take time and there is always a little of the X that remains.....because of the kids etc... But the important thing is to move at your own pace...it takes time....
