Hey brother....yes I was proud of her achievements. I am even more proud of the little person she is evolving into. Full of goodness with no malice whatsoever. Appreciative, respectful and most of all willing to help people around her (fellow students etc.). She once told me that when she grows up, she would like to help old people in some capacity.....
there was a little note in the booklet they received:
"reach for the stars but keep your feet on the ground"....I thought that was very a propos for the students and at least one parent (who shall remain nameless) whose feet are still not firmly planted. In retrospect for D8 to be recognized this way also reflects on her parents and how they have handled the past year or so.
Can't wait for the weekend so that I can be with her....
