I went ahead earlier today and just emailed him when I'd be in town. I mentioned that I might be in town on saturday (because it's true) but didn't say anything about it being his birthday. I didn't ask when he wanted to see me or if, I just stated what my plans were.
The festival is awesome....wish I could perform for all of you.
Weird news flash: I am feeling really attracted to the second violinist in my group--the same guy at lyricafest last year who slow danced with me in the kitchen--and I am sitting next to him in rehearsals for 4-6 hours a day. It is so retarded, when I'm around him I feel really nervous and self-conscious and mostly just ignore him because my heart is a-flutter. I feel like I am 9 years old!!!
Don't worry, I have ridiculous self-control, and I don't do flings.
