Thankyou! I wish we could have had a big party for my birthday. I'd have loved to meet BF (and you, of course). Maybe next year?!
I agree about H- I think that him putting up with the aubergine says something about his state of mind- he seems helpless when in our R if I'd behaved in the way that she supposedly does he'd never have put up with it. I guess there's not much I can do about it though.
I am particularly happy today because the team of hot guys are starting work on my flat. Vernon Kay is in the kitchen, Mark from Take That is assembling the kitchen units and Tom Cruise is moving the boiler. I can't wait for the electrician to show up.
This weekend I went to a spa (it was a fully paid day courtesy of the Big Man (that's what my BFF calls CEO) as reward and recognition for my hard work). I had a lovely time- a flotation tank, being doused in shea butter, facial. I've never done anything like that before so it was really nice to try it. It was also good thinking time. I feel lighter and much more positive now- for some reason remodelling the flat seems to represent a big moving on thing for me, so that's good.
It helped when the D papers arrived for me to review anyway (they came on my birthday- nice present to get ) They were all fine so I've sent them off. Let's see what happens- H ought to receive them in the next couple of weeks, although I expect he will probably just sign and return them without so much as a how's your father! Now I'm not DBing I don't need to worry about having expectations!!
CEO is back from a weekend away at his BMFs wedding tomorrow. I like your plan Al- I think I'm going to keep on looking into alternative jobs and see what happens if the right one comes along.
