My husband used to do that to me a lot. He'd ask what my plans were and then not tell me his.

One time I asked him why he asked me what my plans were if he wasn't going to tell me his. If you show me yours, I'll show you mine!

Another time I said in response to his question, "Why? Do you want to do something with me?"

I don't remember why, but he stopped asking.

Nowadays, he says yes to everything I invite him to...unless he has to work.
