Yeah, I've been considering whether it was the right thing or not. No clear answer but I went for it anyway.

1. Glass of wine and movie was her idea. Film was my choice ("The Wrestler" with Mickey Rourke) and so was foot rub.

2. Past history with feet: Started out as a kind expression of touch that we liked doing for one another (indeed for a while footrubs were a baby step towards intimacy) but later on it became kind of an obligation. I didn't like it anymore and so they grew scarce.

Last night was a chance for me to turn it around and say 'I want to do this for you.' (I know..dangerous..pursuing).

When I told her, "Kick your feet up here and I'll give you a foot rub." her response was "Really?", "Yeah, I haven't done it in a long time." She leaned the couch way back, relaxed, and closed her eyes. (I think that means she liked it).

3. As I said earlier, we only have a few more nights in this house together. If she wants to spend time with me (movie) then I will make the experience rich for her. next month will be lonely enough for both of us.
