I know what you mean about mornings. For some reason they were hardest for me too. Same with when my dad died, I'd wake up and wonder if it was all a nightmare. Each day seemed like a huge number of hours to "endure" until the respite of sleep would come, which usually only happened when I took something. (Not saying you need meds, but for awhile, I sure did. I'd look forward to not remembering any terrible things for a few hours).
We live in an area with a lot of beauty around. Forcing yourself (and yes, I do mean "forcing") outside may help. D's are going on a hike near the beach and then swimming and you could do something like that. Doesn't cost anything either!
