I hear you on the trip. I make a lot of 'plans' in my head that don't actualize. So how fabulous that you are really doing it! I am sure you will have loads to choose from on the 4th of July, what a fun day to travel! St. Louis always had a great celebration, Harrier jets hovering over the river, cool stuff.
Jealous Michelle gets to visit again. I can't find any conventions in your area that my school would pay for me to go to, but I will keep working on it!

Your trip sounds like lots of fun- will you be taking lots of photos? Oh, and Handsome- have you got digital camera advice? I'm thinking of getting one but have no idea where to start.

As far as cameras go, what are you looking for? Something to take snaps with (but good ones, of course) or something more serious, like a digital SLR?
I'll be back later.... maybe much later. I'm going to let the golf course beat me up. I went yesterday, and got poured on for 20 minutes or so! During that, I hit a tee shot on a par three that left it's pitch mark about two inches from the hole! I didn't take a pick, since it was pouring, and I thought my phone was better dry!
Saw Michelle LT Monday afternoon, we went to see Terminator, and then had dinner. Her friend Roger is a lucky guy, in my opinion!
I have news, of a sort....
W should settle on her house Friday or Monday. From that point, we need to get things filed pretty quickly, or it's going to be a messy jumble, I think. So, moving forward would be happening soon.
