Thanks, I did look it up.

I have been taking large doses of Vitimin D for a long time, but I have found another doctor who has taken a lot of blood tests and did those blood panel work-ups. He said that I was very deficient in many areas. It is going to take a long time to see any results and he is putting me on just a few things at a time. However, I have some hope that in spite of the Fibromyalgia, maybe I will feel better if/when I can get my hormones and other deficiencies fixed.

Thanks again for the infromation.

Sandi

Journal Update:

D17 is now D18! God! How old does that make me?

Sooooo, we are "STATUS QUO, with a few improvements... " and I know that is good for now.

Saturday - H got home in the middle of the night (Fri/Sat) from working out of town for the week. We went to S12's HOME soccer game. They won, and he scored a goal! We then, went home and relaxed for awhile, and took S9 to his AWAY soccer game later that evening. They lost, and played in the most horrible conditions. But, we went to dinner w/some of the teammates and parents afterward, which was very fun! H really likes one of the other Dad's, and enjoys his humor. Glad they asked us to come.

Sunday - S9 had a HOME game, and they WON! S9 was awesome in goal! And, S12 had an AWAY game, and they lost, by one goal. We all went to S12's game, including one of D18's best friend. We were all celebrating D18's birthday at Texas de Brazil. If anyone has ever been to one of those places, you'll understand that I'm STILL full from brunch yesterday! We gave D18 her b-day presents (combo grad/b-day present... laptop! She was thrilled!), and had ice cream with my parents. Fun day overall, and all passed out fairly early.

Today H was home until about 30 min ago... Had some fun kind of banter, and laughed about S12 renting a tux for his 6th grade graduation. H helped me set-up a pipettor that I need to work with, prior to a trip to IA and WI this week. And, I got my hair done! It's cute!

One little change this weekend... I've tried this before w/good result... If H is tired (is a lot because of his work schedule), he tends to make some sarcastic comments sometimes (to me), which can get annoying. I've started (one in awhile) zinging him back, instead of going along, or ignoring them. I, actually, think he might like it! He doesn't make any more comments, and kind of finds it humorous that he's been zinged. I think I'll keep that up, but not too often, as he isn't in that mood very often.

Soccer training was canceled for the boys tonight. Looking forward to staying home, cooking, and going for a walk.

Hope everyone's doing well!

Off to IA and WI tomorrow and Thursday. H is going to handle the kids tomorrow night, while I'm out trying to make a dime! (Hope this economy improves!!!)

H called this am from "the road." Just inquiring about things.

It's funny. He would exist like this... making it ALL work, EXCEPT for our intimacy... Great friends! Great roommates! forever, I think...

Blech!

MB,

I understand the feeling. My W feels the same way. Seems like EVERYTHING is great except for her wanting to be physically intimate with me. I don't have any suggestions as to what could change that, because I believe we can't. I am still convinced time will break this type of sitch eventually and I want to be there when that happens. In the mean time, I am being the best friend I can without being available 100% of the time. Sounds like you're doing the same and I think that's the best you can do.

Keep the strength!

Hi MB. Just checking in to see how you're keeping? I think the little changes are the way to go. Small steps and small turns are what made the Titanic turn \:\)

hey sandi, stop me if I already shared this with you..I have talked with several people, with Fibromyalgia that had terrific results with monavie. There are lots of good products out there, and it's just about giving your body the right nutrients so that your body heals itself. I'll post the testimony on my thread if you want to see it.
