Hey Dbers, I’m thinking of having a Yahoo Guys Retreat weekend! It’ll be a time to sit back, re-energize, have some fun and ponder those big dating questions. Now I’m looking at some fun activities like a Toe nail Trimming competition or a Team Wedgie Elimination contest. There will also be some practical sessions like “Pimp My Profile” or “Extreme Profile Makeover”. I’m also looking at having some serious workshops to address dating issues.
Here are some topic titles I’m considering:

“What to do when she doesn’t like sports?”
“How to know what she thinks without her having to tell you”
“How to have romance yet still keep your hands firmly on the remote”
“Calling her daily and what the heck to talk about”
"Feelings (Part 1): What to do if she expresses one”
“Feelings (Part 2): What to do if you have one… and know that it’s not just gas
Multi-tasking: How to drive and talk with her at the same time
“Alternatives to saying “I dunno, what do you wanna do”
“When staying home is not an option”
“Going to the Beer Store is not a date!”
“How to recognize when she’s dumped you”

“Hot Topic Mini-Series: (Choose only one from below)
Do I really need to change my underwear daily when I date?”
To shave or not to shave
Is take out food OK?
Is Old Spice really all it's cracked up to be?

I’m thinking of having this at a Legion Hall somwehere in Southern Ontario (accessible by the QEW, for AT).
I’ll keep you all posted and let me know if you’d like to attend. Each attendee will be expected to bring a bag of Frito Lays or something equivalent for the food bank. We Yahoo guys believe in giving back to the community.
It'a gonna be great!

Darn - I live the closest I suspect but I am NOT a guy. Perhaps I can come in disguise - LOL! Offer the "female perspective". Oh well - I'm sure you guys can have a great beer drinkin', gut scratchin' w/e. EH?

Hmm, "the Female Perspective" ...it sounds like another seminar to me!
I've added a few more to the schedule. We'll weed out the ones no one signs up for:

New Additions:

“How to pick a movie where nothing blows up”
“Reading a restaurant menu”
“What to do when she asks “do I look fat”
“Saying NO to Ballroom Dance”
“How to hide your friends”
“When ‘protection” doesn’t mean buckling your seat belt”
“When she hates your car”
“Dating and laundry: staying organized”
“When Wham-bam-thank you M’aam” is no longer enough”
“Dating as mutual deception”
“Changing: what it is and how to avoid it”
"When She turns out to be a He"

Are there any other topics people would like to see covered?

You might also try:

How to not talk about your X?
How to respond when she talks about her X?
When is it appropriate to introduce your kids that she didn't know you had?
And, at what stage in the R should you let her know you have kids?
Is honesty the best policy in a new R?
How to get that second date? (This could be an addendum to the Old Spice workshop.)
Remembering which era you are currently in? (Not the 80's ---- the 2000's)

Hope this helps in your workshop, Wii!

That's the spirit, Being Me! The list is endless.
Here's the Yahoo Guys dating workshops I came up with on my drive home:

When her Mother is hotter than she is
Travel avoidance: Fake illnesses she'll believe
How to get her to pay for gas
"Should I vacuum my car?": Pros and Cons
Socks with sandals: Two differing perspectives
Blood tests you can believe in
How to fake a foreign language
Learning to love craft shows
Flowers: plastic or real?
What to do when her pet dies
Never fail Bible verses to help you score
How to cry (without having to drop something heavy on your foot)

This could grow into a week long convention if we keep it up!

Wii - You must have a long drive home!

You are hysterical! Maybe you've got to get away from that humourless manager and start your own tv show. Most of the best comedians started with SCTV ya know. we grow em funny here in Canuckland.

I think my brain is just wired abnormally!
Here's some workshops from my dinner hour:

Second dates: What if she really is just washing her hair?
When you find out she used to date your sister
How devil worship can make your Profile stand out
Self defence: When you meet her husband
When her kids hate you and you hate them

I gotta stop this!

I couldn't stop!

Chocolates: Does she look like she really needs them?
Tools she'll just love to receive as gifts
Football jerseys that really work
How to share your dreams ...or make some up
Career talk: Making your dead end job come to life
Is it love: Would you give her your kidney?

It's gotta end sometime
