At one point (after I'd become a bit of an oldtimer on these boards) I changed my identity for undisclosed reasons and wanted a nom de plume that was androgynous and unrevealing. So, it is not entirely by accident that people mistake my gender... So, there is the androgynous name, my direct manner, my non-cheerleading non-hand-holding approach (plenty of folks to do that around here), and my general openness combined with a charming lack of tact that probably all combine to make it seem like I'm a dirty old man rather than a sweet, but analytical, girly girl mom of D2.5.

Puppy, you thought so too *recently* or a long time ago?

Best,
Oldtimer
