WAW1 - Anticipation

My wife just dropped the children off. She is still in a 'funny' mood, not happy not sad, she just seems herself before the bomb.

She mentioned to me she had received a letter from my sister saying how much she missed my W and her company and said I hope maybe we could get together sometime. My W said to me "when I reply to her it will be a goodbye letter".

I felt as though I had been stabbed in the heart, but I have to believe nothing she says at the moment as we are told. I don't know if she was trying to get a reaction from me but I just listened and said nothing.

I anticipated the money I owed her which she forgot, though she did say I should have given her some more money considering she buys snacks for the children. I said I would under normal circumstances but I need to watch the pennies at the moment. I also anticipated two other things that required attention to her, she never said anything or thanked me, but I would not have expected a thank you anyway.
