H was always brilliant at birthdays and anniversaries, so yes, it'd be surprising if he did nothing at all. On the other hand, it would be different if he forgot. Maybe it would prove to me that I can't predict his behaviour!
Lovely CEO is.... still lovely. Last Friday he was leaving in a hurry and he said goodbye quickly. I kind of thought nothing of it because after a year of dealing with a crisis type WAH a quick goodbye isn't much to worrk about. CEO, on the other hand, must have found it distressing because he called me half an hour later because he'd said goodbye too quickly and he wanted to say goodbye nicely and tell me to take care of myself. I've never had a boss who did that before, LOL! Come to think of it, even my H doesn't do that
Today he called me very sweetly in the afternoon to see how I was and to offer to help me with the refurbishment at home and to choose a new digital camera. Apparently he spent a lot of time at the weekend finding out about what would be the best type for me. He spent ages on the phone saying nothing (literally saying nothing, as opposed to saying this and that). Then he spent ages saying goodbye to me and saying he was going to be seeing me tomorrow in any case (?). Must have missed me, the poor thing. I said I was looking forward to it (it's really like a slow death in my new office) and he sounded very pleased about that.
Mwahahahahahaha!! (with evil hand rubbing). The flirtee becomes the flirter and he gets a taste of his own medicine.
