We will certainly figure things out!

W has always had a plan, more or less. To move after school ends (Friday) and before it begins (July 20th). So, it's only ever been a six week window. I think that it is a little scary for her, too. It will be a lot easier for her to do the painting before she moves in, so I am not really surprised.

I think I've just been stressing in general. I'm not a very high stress person, so a little is a lot, for me! I've got concerns about money, the kids, and just D in general. I think they will all decrease as the calendar flips over, so I am not really worried. More annoyed at the weight gain, than anything!

Once you stop cooking everyday for the kids, you will lose weight in no time. Just be careful not to go overboard until then.

I know you were prepared but I think we are never quite ready for the end. Dont underestimate the related stress. I think you may be in need for a trip to my side of the world (or better yet Lisa's side, LOL)

I agree, even when we thing we are ready, we are not ready! I'm not really surprised by the stress, just disappointed that I managed to give back almost all the progress I'd made on my weight. I guess it is a good thing I'd lost it first, though! And, I know I can lose it again, so that's good.

I think a trip across the Atlantic would be wonderful! I really hope to manage that next year!

Couldn't have said it better myself!

(((Handsome)))) I agree with K- once this period of stress is over I'm sure the weight will fall off again. I can't believe W's move has come around so quickly.

Hopefully St Andrews will do the same ;\)

Hello! I hear ya on the weight thing, I had lost 28 lbs 2 years ago, ever since the marriage went into a tailspin I have gained 20 of those back! So far I have lost 4 of the re-gain (started refocusing 2 wks ago), only 16 to go! You did it before you can do it again!

I am sure that when the move occurs, things will be very stressful at first. The whole situation (at least mine) is not so bad in theory but when it starts playing out it does bring stress.

You will be okay, though. I just know it.

(((((Lisa)))))(((((BobbiJo)))))(((((Kalni)))))

Thanks to all of you for your kind words!

Lisa, I hope St. Andrews comes around quickly, as well! Somehow, I want to make that work! I golfed yesterday.... got a par on the first hole, had 4 other pars and a chip in birdie, and still shot 102..... when I'm bad, I'm horrid! But, more good shots, too. It's just that the bad ones really cost me.

BobbiJo, you are exactly right! It seems that everything is pretty clear, and everyone is doing well. But there is underlying stress, almost every day, involving almost everything we do, isn't there? I know I can lose it again, I just can't let it get any worse before it gets better! I was hiding my head in the sand for a while, I think. I wasn't getting on the scale.... I think my subconcious mind knew exactly what was happening!

Kalni, I'd be happy to show up for bikini time! \:\)

Huh, I'm like you guys, too. I gain weight when stressed, but weirdly...lose weight when truly miserable. Conversely I lose weight when REALLY happy, and gain it when only kinda content. It's a strange continuum of weight loss...

But really, I love food too much, so regular exercise has to fit into it. Perhaps regular high kicks, rockettes practice has to be part of it?

How does one become a Virtually_Handsome rockette? Are there tryouts?

All that's required to be a Rockette is to come by and visit now and then, enjoy some virtual food and drink, and have a bit of a sense of humor! So, are you going to try out?

I haven't figured out my weight loss continuum! I have figured out the stress eating part, though!

OK then, here's my tryout: (picture Mae West leaning back on her chaise lounge saying this) Give me a sex on the beach, Handsome............................hold the beach.

So...Did I make it?? \:D
