Okay, here's my place. Everyone is invited to come visit. I may not be home all the time b/c I try to get around the board, but if you will leave me a message I will get back to you.....(where have I heard that before?)....

Not that it is that intersting, but just so I won't lose it....this is the link to my first thread when I came on the board, which seems like a very long time ago.

http://www.divorcebusting.com/forums/ubb...rue#Post1116410

When I read that old post, I am suprised that a lot of LBS did not let me have it between the eyes. Thankfully, some great people helped me and b/c of that.....I am here in my M and we are doing fine. I do want to pay it forward and try to support any folks that I can. I certainly don't have all the answers, but I don't think that is always necessary......it is just being there for people.

Just a quick update on my health.....I went to a new doctor who is running blood tests and finding out how low or deficient I am in a lot of areas. He is giving me a few things at a time to see how I respond. I am anxious to get it all! Anyway, it has given me "hope" that I may feel better some day....in spite of the Fibromyalgia.

Thanks to all of you who pass on any information about Fibromyalgia b/c it not only affects my life but my H's and my family's. It certainly has changed me from what I use to be and it has been a hard stuggle. You know, it takes energy to piece your marriage back together, and when you have this stuff you don't have any energy plus you hurt all the time. There are others here on the board that have health issues and struggle with that on top of the M problems. It is a double whammy! So, I am thankful to Michelle and those that made this DB board possible b/c it sure helps to talk to each others and have these unseen friends near by.

Everyone take care and come to see me at my place.

Sandi

Hi Sandi, this book really helped me with my chronic ailments, http://www.amazon.com/Mindbody-Prescript...42543065&sr=8-1

You need to have an open mind (which I believe you do).

I am going to go out on a limb and say that all of the hard work you've done has taken some toll on you physically. You are an incredibly strong and inspiring lady. I think you could get a lot out of this book.

Thank you. I appreciate what you said, very much. I know in my younger years that I did a lot of physical work that was too hard on me and in some ways, I'm probably paying for it now. I lived under a great deal of stress for many years and I think it took its toll.

I will check that link out.

Thanks again,
Sandi

Hey Sandi, I was not a proponent of eastern medicine for a long time. But now I have had family who are benefitting from it. I am not sure if you think it might help but it may not hurt to try.

I am willing to try about anything that may help. Talking about the eastern medicine.....I even went to a doctor who had an eastern name and I could tell he was from the east. However, he did not even believe in fibromyalgia. He thought he could "fix" me one on trip to his office and when I showed back up, he acted mad. I gave him a year of my life and I went downhill. Finally, I found a real Fibromyalgia doctor that I see once a month, plus I have found another doctor in a different town who is working on my blood issues. So, I'm in hopes of finding something soon to make me feel better.

I love all of you who are concerned enough to give me suggestions of doctors, books, remedies, medicines, whatever. When we get desparate, we are thankful for any advice.

Sandi

Well, thanks. I have found a doctor in addition to my Fibromyalgia doctor--who I am in great hopes of making me feel better.

Hi Sandi,

Just wanted to stop by your new "place" and say I hope your health improves. If your physical body could match the strength of your character, you'll be doing cartwheels in no time!

Oh and BTW, I started a new thread so I wouldn't keep hijacking yours. LOL!

Please check in and see if I'm doing okay. I sure could use your 2x4's.
