Right, that's what I think. How could I have been married to him for so long????? Wow! I deserve a medal. I'm trying to keep my PMA up. I feel better after talking to the L. She said she'll address the car payment he didn't pay at mediation. He's a slimeball. Could I have married to a slimeball for so long and not realized it??? The mover just called--he's about to show up. I'll be back online Friday (supposed to hook me up on Friday am). I'll miss y'all, and esp. right now with all this H has to be being a total pain in the you know what!!! Karen

Hey, I'm still offline, using the library comp. I moved Wed., and I'm about 75% moved. I'm working both jobs, started the new one Thursday and everyone seems very nice. Should be a low-stress job which is prob. what I need right now. Hope everyone's doing good. I've got a couple more minutes and will try to check on everyone. I tried to get internet today, but still not working, so hopefully soon though. He was able to hook up the tv so we're not completely in the dark ages. The new house is nice, just working on getting a lawnmower and 100 other things... Karen

OK, good news is my new internet is working. The guy installed it today plus the tv cable, but the service went out, so it's back up now. I just had a rough day today for some weird reason, just felt cranky. D9 called H a few times today to confirm we were doing the usual Fri. night pickup same time/place b/c I didn't have email. He didn't pick up or return her calls. I then left a msg. saying I was confirming the usual time/place.

He called me back at the library to tell me he was running 10 minutes late b/c he was coming from out of town. When I dropped off the kids he was in his biking gear, so must have gone on a nice bike trip today. Then while we were on the phone he asked me if I knew he'd be charged $170 when I switched to the new phone company and kept the same #. I said what are you talking about and he asked me if they'd explain he'd get that charge. I said no, I didn't. And then he basically said well we'll email about it and hung up. I'm thinking his company charged him the money and maybe my company didn't know it would be $170? That's the company that charges $150 for a replacement phone too and my company charges $50 for that. After I emailed him about his car payment he hadn't paid in December, he emailed back your car, your responsibility, so I'm tempted to email back Your phone bill, your responsibility, but you know I won't. \:\)

On the way to dropoff I messed up, it's 65 on the highway most of the time and right at this one place it goes down to 45 and the trooper just happened to be parked right there, so I was going 20 miles over the 45! My first ticket ever btw, b/c I'm such a goob. I had all this stuff on my mind so I was driving more on automatic pilot today. Oh, well. I'm still happier on a day like today than I was a year ago, so that's something! Karen

I can't wait until you are rid of him. It is sad that we still have to interact with them after though. I am sorry that your day was off. I had a rough last couple hours of work and was super happy that today is Friday.

I am surprised you weren't able to charm your way out of that ticket even though I know you wouldn't necessarily being trying to. Maybe he just wasn't too observant or the cop was a girl. \:\)

Are you up for a chat?

kat

Ha ha! Close to minimum wage! Well, I got some more moving done this afternoon. The fenced yard is too short in one place, it's a board that is 2 or 3 feet shorter than the rest of the fence. I went and got a board to nail on top of it, so I left the dog inside while I was gone 2.5 hours. He ripped up the kitchen floor by the door and the blinds (cheap ones thank goodness) off the kitchen door and tore them to shreds. He's never done that before, but I guess he's freaking over the new house, and I'm freaking at the damage he did!

I'm going to try to fix the fence tomorrow, and then guess apologize to the landlord who's coming over tonight to take away an old stove he left. I'm going to offer to replace and fix the damage and if he's not happy after, he can deduct from the $700 deposit I gave him. I'm prob. going to upgrade the blinds (they were cheap and see through), but don't know what i'll do with the couple of inches of linoleum he tore off the floor!!!!

I actually had a good day before that happened. I would just love to have one less stressful day at some point!!!! Tomorrow maybe??

Karen

(((karen)))

Here's hoping that your dog settles in soon. Change is tough on everyone, including the pets.

And yes, let's hope tomorrow ends up being a FFD! (ok, just made that up I think - FU**ING FANTASTIC DAY!!!) \:\)

Ohhhh doggie!!!!! Even with all that's going on, you sound great. Do you have others helping with the move? Do you have family close by? I don't think I remember you ever talking about your parents or brothers or sisters.....
