Why do the expect him to do the yardwork and such? If he's out, he's out. Finito, the end. Of course, I'm one to talk, my xh still comes and cuts my grass and cleans out my gutters and I let him. I appreciate it since I work two jobs and get no support so I think I justify it that way.

I'm just curious why they would think it's his duty.
