I laughed w/the reference to "harder" as I know where both of our dirty minds were wandering. However, no sex as of yet. We're still feeling the relationship out and neither one wants to rush into anything. However, we click now, so there is some anticipation about moving forward.
John, I agree w/being yourself too, but I've also learned to "dial it down a bit" at first. I'm not pretending to be something I'm not, but what I am doing is not giving out too much too soon. After chasing a few away before, I'm discovering that letting things seep out rather than pour out helps to build the chemistry and attraction.
So, I've been being "me" but just at a bit slower pace. So far, with this one, it is working. Ex: I sent her a text asking how she was doing and she replied asking if I was texting b/c I missed her. I replied with "maybe a little" and she came back with "I was hoping for a lot."
She's getting ready to move and had an issue prop up w/her daughter in the past few days, so she asked me to "hang in there w/her for a little bit" and she's hoping I won't run.
She told me she is "really liking what I'm seeing now" and she hopes "I'm real and won't change." So, I can safely say she likes me, which is nice b/c I'm getting into her too.
I'm enjoying her and she likes me, so it is so far so good in my world right now.
On the XW front, we're dealing w/pensions, so I've given her everything of mine and done it quickly and openly, but she's dragging her feet a bit in collecting information on her salaries. Anyone surprised? Me neither.
Today I pick up D and then she has her Kindergarten graduation tomorrow. I took the day off work, so she'll be able to sleep in a bit longer as I don't have to have her to school until 9. Her Graduation starts at 10:30 then she's out for the day w/me after that.
D wants us to take XW to lunch w/us so we can celebrate her graduation as a "family" so I said yes. It is fine w/me to have XW there as I think she should be, to tell you the truth.
Tomorrow night, D and I are going to go see 38 Special, REO Speedwagon, and Styx here in Phoenix b/c the band manager for REO has his kid in my class. So, he's set us up w/great seats and some backstage stuff. I'll have ear plugs for D, but I'm thinking she'll like hearing the band live and dancing to the rhythms. If not, we'll leave and not worry as the seats were free!
So, that is what I've got in store for me today and tomorrow and I'm looking forward to these events w/D.
