I wanted to share with ya'll the poem my D16 wrote for her english final. it broke my heart, trying to decide if we should email it to H or not.
here it is.
You have been there for me
For a sum of ten years now
It is hard to understand how
You did this to our Family
I thought you were happy
I thought that you loved me
Now I come to see
You have a new Family
He is almost three
You hid him for so long
What made you mention him now
Do you like to cause this hurt?
I do not think that you see
All of the pain this causes me
On the outside you cannot tell
But on the inside it kills me

OMG BG! That is an amazing poem. Your D has to be struggling so much with this. I don't know if there is any point in sending it to your H or not. He's pretty far into his denial.

Hey honey! If your daughter decides he should see it, then SHE should (not you). The WA are in such an orbit that they are unable to see the hurt. They need to see it. But when it is the kids hurting, it comes from them.

hope some of you catch D16's whole poem. spent today with H as it was softball day. today i realize how I am truly old lol. had a great time with old friends despite my sitch. H dropped me off and went straight to baby mommas. i am getting so tired. Have treatment in the morning, then D14's 8th grade graduation. again will see H, as I will straight after tues every night as S has games wed thurs and fri, and we have a softball tourney sat and sunday, please say prayers thats alot of time.
