Should I throw a flag on this and remind him that since it is marital property, the proceeds from any sale are half mine?
In a word.......YES! Of course, I think VA law is "equitable distribution of assets", not equal. I know you aren't looking at D as an option, but this is marital property and if he has an ounce of honesty in him, he wouldn't withold proceeds from the sale of a major item from the family.
Not sure how you bring this up to him though.
