Well, interestingly enough, that i did not put in last night's post. My FIL has apparently finally said something to DH about the consequences of his choices. SIL told me about it on Monday, FIL told her after DH left his parents' house Saturday night.
FIL told him that he has no business over here all the time. He made a choice and he needs to live with the consequences. I am guessing that went in one ear ad out the other. DH has made no move to take more of his stuff out of the house and according to SIL he has not brought anything really off the ship, either. She said he keeps his stuff put up out of the bathroom--like he is visiting, not living there. So weird!
I said to SIL that I hope MIL and FIL understand that if DH persists, things are going to change. She asked me why? I told her because I will not be part of the family anymore. SHE said yes I would, I always would and that the OW would NEVER be part of the family--they would never accept her. Then SIl started laughing. I asked her what was so funny she said can you imagine Mom (MIL) if she ever met her? MY MIL has no filter--she says whatever comes to mind. The OW is only 7 years younger than MIL. I can only begin to imagine what MIL would say, but we did havea good laugh over it.
Need to go do some laundry and make a floral arrangement for the front door. I will check in later.
