So I just got this email from H: He was asking what my plans were for when I was working and I emailed back: same as he and I have been doing while at work, having S15 babysit S9. He emails back: I think this is different. when they are at my place I am only a few minutes away and there are adults nearby. I would have them in school but until that's worked out I cant do that. when they were in the XXXXX house they were close to the police department and other adults. its a bad plan to have them stay alone during school hours way out in a remote location. I hope we can come up with a better plan. So I emailed back (mover is supposed to have been here a few minutes ago):
There are several neighbors on the same street. Our landlord and his wife are retired and home all the time and are 2 doors down. They said the kids could always come over. I met the next door neighbor and he is nice too. We have the cell phone for emergencies as well. I have no choice about working b/c I have to pay bills. Also, if you have them Wed. it will only be 3 days a week for 4 hours so 12 hours a week. If you'd like to pay for a nanny or sitter, I could look into that, but I have no extra money for that. I can continue to look for a mostly weekend job, but have to take something at this point and this is the first permanent job I've been able to get (tough job market). Thanks for your understanding. Please let me know when the mid-December car payment is straightened out. Thanks for that also. We should be moving any second also, so won't have internet until Friday morning. But you can always leave voice mail on the cells.
BTW, how do you think he can stand to live with himself? Is he the biggest jerk or what????
