That's the way I see it. Why not get set up before the official exposure? Protection for my D is the most important thing in my mind right now.

However, it might serve you well (when it comes to settlement) if you are divorcing her on the grounds of her infidelity. Getting that on divorce papers might help you with custody.

It is my understanding that FL is a no-fault state. I am hoping for joint-custody with rights as the custodial parent for right now. At this point, I don't think she has a problem with that.
