I think you are seeing from the responses, everyone has been told something that "if you had only done this then I wouldn't have" and quite frankly in my sitch it has been a moving target \:\)

It's just a coping mechanism. Don't let it bother you even though I know that is easier said than done (especially by me) More importantly self reflect and arrive at the things you maybe need to change. Mine was shift work but the truth is we drifted apart because married life and a child got us into a rut.

I think we were in a rut as well. Because of this, I didn't give her attention and affection that she needed. She got that from others(scumbags) at a time of opportunity--my deployment to Iraq. Pure speculation on my part, at this point who knows what she's thinking. Obviously, nothing that makes sense as she believes she's in love w/ a married man and is giving up her family even though she knows there's no future with him.
