It must feel like the strangest feeling ever...things being so close, yet so far away -Ali - nothing to offer but best wishes and support for you... you will deal with this new turn of events with your self-same good humour and level headiness -keep going Ali! Everyone here is rooting for you!!!
And Ali -don't give your ex "too" much slack! He's got more of the bridge to mend than you have!!! IMO give him space to get his bricks sorted out and the mortar mixed but don't give him "too" much help with the re-building! Although, of course you might do well to put your hard hat on and then when the time is right, you can help. Right at the moment though it sounds as if "the job" needs a bit more sizing up and lip sucking! All big building jobs are the same!
