Its pretty remarkable that ex rang BMF after doing it and I got to find out 10 minutes later! (as Cher was mouthing to me, but I couldnt catch all she said). So.. the grapevine continues. J rang to tell me, ex rang BMF last night to tell him (she said it was early evening, so it must have been a short convo with Helen, which also worries me.. she will be back for more I bet)..and he was crying and apparently in a bad state, very wobbly BMF said. So bad that if he is still in bad shape tommorow, he is driving down to spend time with him (thats a big ask, BMF works and is busy and its a 4 hour drive).
I'm worried to hear he is so on the edge. For him and also, what that means about his feelings for her. J said, its just him, he is a lovely guy and cant bear upsetting people.
I sent him a short, lighthearted text about our house and the letting agents early, but no reply of course.
I;ve had some odd reactions from people today. J and BFF were very pleased and excited and also glad for him that he has done this. But there has been some muted responses. I'm a bit wierded out by that, I thought it was good news? I haven't got excited though, I know this isnt it yet and he needs time and space still, I dont know maybe people are fed up with him. I see it that he had a breakdown and is still not out the other side of that.
