Last night was interesting. Not anything to do with my sitch, just me in general. Wanted to get the thoughts out there though all the same.

For starters, I went to DivorceCare last night because they were viewing a sermon on anger by Andy Stanley (Dr. Charles Stanley's son and an awesome pastor in his own right). Also, I like to stop by and check in now and then. When I arrived CG was sitting outside talking on his phone. I must say, last night he wasn't just CG but seriously HG! Heavens sakes! A girl could faint. He's grown a bit of a scruffy beard and let his hair grown a little longer. HOT HOT HOT! Yummy......

Ok, dreaming over on that.

I was so sad to see so many new people there last night. Out of 21 people there were only 6 of us that are 'old timers'. So many families being destroyed devastates me. There was good discussion and then afterward I talked with the group leaders to tell them what had transpired this last week. It was a good night all in all.

Afterward, I called my BFF and we had a 2 hour phone convo about all sorts of subjects. She is struggling through some issues with regards to her applications to nursing school. She has been applying for 5 years and the waitlist keeps getting worse and worse. It's really hard to get in even though there is such a shortage of nurses. She's frustrated. We had a convo about God's perfect timing not necessarily matching our own. I hope I was able to help her see the waiting on school as an opportunity to be more "there" for her kids as they are transitioning between middle school and high school. Nonetheless, it was a great 2 hours of girl talk.

Talked to Gabe for a few minutes this morning to ask him if he could take Marc to karate next Monday. Had to call and ask while it was fresh in my mind. I have to work at the market that night. He kept asking me questions, almost like he was trying to extend the convo but I managed to wrap it up without seeming like I was rushing him off (I had to get gas and they freak out if you get out of your car on your cell phone - that whole possibility of explosion stuff).
