My moods have been all over the place for no apparent reason. Nothing has happened with exBF or flirt guy. I am stalled! lol Next week is the court thing with the Trustee. We got the one that my L was hoping not to get but can't do much about that.
I am just trying to hold my own in this crazy world. I do have to get up early and record races for my Dad. Joy, joy. I am the backup. I know slightly sarcastic but I really like to get to sleep in and I won't get to.

I have to get up and record early each day this weekend. But I guess that is something I am good for...house/bird sitting and recording shows and races when my parents are gone. LOL
I told ex I wanted the kids back about 11am on Sunday for Mother's Day. He asked if I couldn't make it later since he had made different plans for them. He knew I wanted them for the day(it's his weekend) but then still made plans. I had to wait on S16's schedule for work. He will be gone most of the day, so I wanted to go out and do something before his work.
He even called me at work to again ask about the time. I just said, you know I have never really got a Mother's Day on my own. We always celebrated our Mother's and I was like an afterthought. With my Mom out of town over the holiday and her birthday, I don't have to go there and I am not involved in his family anymore, so I don't have to go there. I don't know what I will do with myself, just take it easy I suppose or take in a movie. Either way I will be with my kids. My first Mother's Day on my terms in 17 years!

Ok, this is kind of strange but nice. I just got flowers from the kids and ex(though of course ex got them)! He got me roses last year and I just cried. He used to be really sweet about getting them for me on special occassions.
The kicker this year...he got me tulips. My favorite flowers. At least the kids hear me. lol Such a nice surprise.

That's wonderful Kat! Happy Mother's Day. H didn't have the kids make cards or get anything, but I volunteered to take the kids to the store to get me something (small). D9 made a card and that's the best anyway!!! Hope you're having a fun day!!! Karen
Ex brought the kids back a little late but I took them to lunch at Applebees. Took S16 to work, bought and delivered flowers for my Aunt and got bread to feed the ducks and Geese. Went out to flirt guys old high school where I saw baby geese yesterday. The kids scared the poor things away! Then we went to the lake and fed the birds there and now home for a nap. I am tired! Didn't get much sleep because I had to get up and record races for my Dad and then couldn't get back to sleep. Either way, it is my Mothers Day and it is going well. Got more flowers from the girls and D10 made a big card for me.

Found out that ex took the girls to spend the night with skank on Friday saying it was too late to drive home so they were just going to stay over. He slept in the same bed with her while they stayed over. Just enough already. I don't know how to change that. I have tried talking to the kids about values and morals without trying to sound like I am condemning him. I just need to know the right way to deal with this.
And you know I so want my toes to curl too. Sorry just had to throw that out there.

This is more common than you think. I was appalled when I heard my "friend" was doing this with her kids. She explained it by saying "it was more confusing for them to see us loving each other during the day but not showing that they are in love by sleeping together at night". It's just crazy, and selfish.
You could ask them what they think about it. Then tell them what you think about it, and tell them what God thinks about it. Your kids are smart, and they will know what's right.

Sorry Kat. Oh, yeah, that's a good reason to be a horrible role model for your kids. Another example of his selfishness. I'm sorry you and your kids have to go through that, but I know that someday soon you'll be with a good guy. ((((((kat))))))
