Good stuff! Seems impossible to do though! I know it is possible because others here have done it. I'd like to be there.

AJ -

I thought about your - find the happiness from within today...

I'm alone at home all day. The quiet times are not good. I really am happy when I'm doing a good job working. My current job is superb! However, I do it from home, and can do more...

So, I went out and found two new opportunities, and secured one already. I'm going to do an email campaign, follow-up calls, and qualify enough people to get 10 leads for a friend of mine's company (they do lean ERP consulting). It's not exactly my field, but I sure know sales, and software is part of my background... No problemo. And, that's enough cash for our summer vacation - white water rafting trip, so I won't have to use our family cash to take everyone!

And, a friend of mine has a Dr. friend who has a distributorship in the vitamin/natural health industry. The Doc knows nothing about business, just that the products are superb, and he really believes in them. I'm meeting w/him tomorrow to go over his needs (write his business/marketing plan, develop and launch his web-site, etc...). Not sure how much to ask for this, but will determine once I find out what all I can do. He's a renowned pulmonary Doc. He's not broke. I'll make sure it is worth it!

So, thank you (and Mike!) for assisting in filling up my day with enjoyable activities. (The liquid lunches are VERY FUN, but not productive, and not great on the waistline!)

Coach - I've saved that sentence in my phone... I like it. Thank you. In fact, I've used some of it already today.

Journal Update for the Day:

I did NOT initiate a phone call to H today. I had to txt him about an urgent tax question from our CPA around 3pm, got the answer, and didn't reply to his answer.

H called me about 4:30pm to see what was going on here. Sounded AWFUL! It sounds like he has a sinus infection or something... Said he felt horrible, and keeps falling asleep, so was trying to take a few naps between work today. Asked about kids schedules this evening... Wanted me to get him some paperwork, but told him I'd love to help, but we're on our way out the door. Would be home about 8:30pm, and would call him then.

I got home around 8:15pm, and called him at 9. No answer. He must be asleep. Hope it helps. He really needs to see a Doc.

So far so good.

Ahhh..nothing like doing something you enjoy and are good at..GAL...and getting paid for it..

liquid lunches are the bomb...they can lead to some emotional outbursts though..

you'll be alright.....white water rafting...where you going..I've done a work trip the last 5-6 years on the Nolichucky in Northeast tennessee..class 2-3-4...google it..I also did a trip to the Whitewater center in Charlotte NC..it's cool..it's where they train the Kayakers for the Olympics now..class 3's-4's and a 5 thrown in..

Mike, we're staying fairly local for the rafting, as H's busiest time is in the summer, and he won't be able to be away that long. We're going to a place in Wisconsin, Wildman Whitewater Ranch. Nice cabins (for D17 and I!), rock climging, high ropes, ATV trails, etc... D17 and I are girly girls, with some guts, so we SHOULD be ok. The boys will be in heaven!

Everyone agreed that if we like it, we'll try and go again, and venture out a bit further... I'll keep your info!
