i have always gotten my wife presents and a card from both me and my D for mothers day and its a friendly competition between all the family members in both our families to be the first to call on certain occasions (not sure how this got started but i always win with the wife) but i will not be participating in that this time. i also think i should just send a simple card to her from my D3 and nothing from me. She is out of town for another month i think I will mail it and let D3 call her to say happy mothers day but i wont bring it up myself what do you think?
I have decided I am not going to do anything. In the past I always had the kids give her gifts/cards but didn't do from me so it would stand out. I did make sure the kids got her something nice along with the handmade at school gifts.
Sunday will be hard because it is also our anniverary.
